The Units

Between us (your hosts Jennie & Sam), have spent working a total of 19 years at Brown      Brothers Milawa Vineyard, where we worked with or hosted many visitors of whom were a few young budding French Winemakers.  After becoming great friends with them and their families and hence visiting them in their own homeland of France, we particularly fell in love with these two areas - Bordeaux and Jura - hence, we decided to name our two units Bordeaux and Jura.  When staying with us, enjoy our framed memoirs on the walls - hopefully some guests may recognize these areas if you yourselves have visited them.

Choose to stay in either unit as they each have their own distinct style, beautifully appointed with a luxurious latex pillow top Queen size beds, a very spacious ensuite with a heated towel rail and hairdryer, guest amenities of Bath Gel, Shampoo and Conditioner, ironing facilities, quality Sheridan linen and towels.  Each unit is self contained and very well appointed with wide screen TV, DVD/CD players, microwave oven, refrigerator,electric skillet pan, toaster,electric jug,crockery,eating utensils.  Each unit has two leather Jason Lazy Boy reclinders, glass top dining table with two leather dining chairs.  Sit back and enjoy landscaped gardens with a rural outlook. Our gardens have lush green lawns, wonderful shady trees, french delhbard roses, weeping cherry trees and more. For further relaxation, enjoy a hammock strung in our trees, ideal for lazing, reading and sleeping!!

Each unit has split system cooling and heating.

Fresh flowers from our gardens are always  included to say 'welcome'.

Shower Robes and slip on scuffs are provided for your comfort whilst enjoying your stay.

BORDEAUX UNIT
This units' name was chosen as Bordeaux represents some of the most expensive and prestigious wines in the world. We visited the most gorgeous chateaus in this region and have chosen a burgundy colour for this unit to reflect the deep claret colours of the wines in the Bordeaux region.  We have included a wonderful book on this Region and its glamourous Chateaus for you to read - enjoy!

JURA UNIT
Jura Region is a well known area of France, and produces some first class 'Vin Jaune' wines.(Yellow Wines - The area where Chardonnay was first grown and made. A gorgeous village by the name of Arbois in the area of Jura,  is the birth place of Louis Pasteuer and the home of Stephane Tissot wines (google stephane tissot arbois france for a look at this area and to see the fruits of his labour).  This region has lovely mountain ranges, valleys, majestic gorges and gorgeous blue lakes - hence we have chosen blue for this unit to reflect calm and relaxation  We have included a book on this region for guests to read - enjoy!
